Political strategists on both sides of the aisle noted that the findings provide a refreshing simplicity for upcoming campaign cycles, allowing candidates to completely bypass complex tax reform and healthcare policy.
“Voters don’t want dry white papers on banking solvency,” said chief polling analyst Sandra Sterling. “They want a candidate who looks them in the eye and promises that their credit card debt will simply vanish the moment a middle school volleyball coach in Vermont checks an athlete’s birth certificate.”
